Here's the latest news and announcements for the members of Arizona Financial Credit Union.
President's Message
Last month, Arizona Financial joined 10 other local credit unions to celebrate Arizona Credit Union Week. An event like this is unique to credit unions and is a clear example of our cooperative business model, which places member service at the center of everything we do.
In my update, I’ll also share details on why where you choose to bank matters and how it helps the local economy.

Free up cash for the holidays with Skip-A-Pay
With the holidays just around the corner, our members have the flexibility to skip a monthly payment once a year on qualifying loans and credit cards.
Our Skip-A-Payment program gives you the financial flexibility to skip a monthly payment on eligible loan or credit card accounts. It’s an easy way to help free up cash for the holidays, vacation or an unexpected expense!
How to get started
To take advantage of the Skip-A-Payment program, just log in to your account online or the mobile app to see if your loan or credit card is eligible.
How does Skip-A-Payment work?
When you skip a payment, the payment is not waived but postponed, extending the length or term of your loan. This adjustment can help free up funds without drastically altering your long-term financial obligations.
As a reminder, interest will still accrue on the skipped payment. This accrued interest will need to be paid at the end of the loan term.
If you have questions, call 602-683-1000 or send us a message through your online banking or the mobile app.

At checkout, just unlock your phone and hold it near the card reader to check out quickly without opening your wallet!

Early Pay Deposit disclosure
Early Pay Deposit is a feature of select checking accounts. This service allows Arizona Financial Credit Union (AZFCU) to make funds from Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposits (typically payroll funds) available to you up to two business days before our receipt of the funds made directly to your checking account.
Accounts featuring the Early Pay Deposit are automatically enrolled in the service. There is no opt-out option for these accounts. Therefore, if you do not wish to use this service, you may have ACH funds deposited into your savings account.
AZFCU, in its sole discretion, determines which direct deposits and deposit accounts qualify for the Early Pay Deposit based on criteria we establish, which can change without notice.
Factors such as the time of receipt, terms or coding of a payor’s ACH file, fraud prevention restrictions, and other confidential risk considerations may affect eligibility, and we do not guarantee the early availability of any deposit. Any direct deposit that does not qualify for Early Pay Deposit service will be made available according to our funds availability policy.
The Early Pay Deposit provisionally credits your account for an ACH transfer before we receive final settlement. If final settlement is not received, AZFCU may reverse the provisional credit or require you to refund us the amount provisionally credited, in which case the payor will not be considered to have paid you. Alternatively, we may debit your account to recover the funds without prior notice, even if it overdraws your account. In the event of an overdraft, you agree to pay the applicable overdraft fee as disclosed in AZFCU’s Rate and Fee Schedule.
AZFCU provides the Early Pay Deposit service as a courtesy at our sole discretion, and we may terminate, suspend, or modify the service at any time without notice to you.
