Skip-a-payment programs allow members to skip a monthly loan or credit card payment during the year – usually during especially tight financial seasons like the holidays and summertime.
Typically skip-a-payment is available on most loans and credit cards, though some lenders only allow it for consumer loans and auto loans, but not for lines of credit or first mortgages.
To be eligible, most require you are up to date on your loan payments, and you may need to have sufficient funds in your checking account to cover the associated skip-a-payment fee if applicable.

In online banking, click Additional Services > Skip a Payment. In the mobile app, tap “More” (iOS/Apple) or the menu bar (Android) to find the skip-a-payment link.
