Arizona Financial’s five-star rating takes into consideration the credit union’s credit quality, profitability, and reputation, including customer surveys, online reviews, and press coverage.

This Newsweek honor follows Arizona Financial’s recognition as the top-ranked credit union in Arizona by Forbes for 2024 and our superior 5-star rating by Bauer Financial, an independent bank research firm. I would like to thank you for trusting us with your banking needs. We couldn’t have achieved this recognition without the trust and support of our members.

Branch & ATM updates

In September 2024 we began an exciting upgrade journey by introducing new ATMs with advanced features like contactless card tap, enhanced security, and an improved user interface. I’m happy to report this project is nearly complete with just two more ATMs to be updated by the end of February.

Our branch expansion plans will bring new locations to Chandler this summer, Phoenix Biltmore by late 2025/early 2026, and Queen Creek in 2026. We will continue to look for additional locations to better serve members and reach new markets.

The Supervisory Committee

Our Supervisory Committee is comprised of volunteers who are appointed by the Board of Directors to represent Arizona Financial's members. This committee serves as our checks and balances to keep us on track.

The committee is responsible for ensuring that members' funds and interests are protected at all times. To accomplish this goal, the Supervisory Committee performs several specific duties including: overseeing an annual independent audit of the credit union, verifying members' accounts, reviewing internal accounting systems and controls, and ensuring that all policies and procedural guidelines are followed.

The Supervisory Committee works closely with our Compliance and Review Services department, confirming the reliability of controls in place and the consistency of the credit union's protection processes. Along with participating in monthly board meetings and planning sessions, the Supervisory Committee continues to serve members on an individual basis.
